The debut-show of Engine Productions, this original dance-theatre piece shadows the life of our couple from their first date, the excitement as their friendship flows into love, the hilarity and seduction of their first sexual encounter, the growth of their commitment, the pains of monotony, and the eventual need to say goodbye and the grief of being alone. Just to Love is a high-energy show with a sharp combination of text and choreography, unique characters and a fresh approach.

The Shape of Things by Neil Labute is a modern version of Adam’s seduction by Eve. It is a play about relationships, art and the importance of truth in both. The story is a tale of transformation (both intentional and not). Adam meets visual arts grad student Evelyn at the art gallery where he works when she’s about to deface one of the nude sculptures. With spray paint in hand she gives him her number, and begins her own journey to create the ultimate piece of art.
